Camping/expedition/activity equipment list
What you will need for activities;
- Rain jacket
- Appropriate clothes for the weather (these may get dirty!)
- We recommend long pants always and not shorts
- Wellington boots/hiking boots/old runners
- Any medication you may need i.e inhaler
- Packed lunch for full day courses (let us know if you'd like us to organise lunch)
- Sunscreen
- Enthusiasm!
Here's a sample equipment list to give you an idea of what you might need for expeditions and all of our overnight courses;
- A tent*
- Sleeping Bag (3 season is best)
- Sleeping mat*
- Survival bag*
- Rain jacket* and rain pants.
- Walking boots
- Wellies (optional)
- Old clothes and a change of clothes.(Do not wear jeans!)
- Plenty of pairs of warm socks
- Thermals if you have them
- Warm hat (for those cool nights)
- Gloves
- Torch with spare batteries*.
- Cup, plate, knife, fork, spoon*.
- Food for the number of days (very important!)
- Spare food
- Water
- Something to cook with i.e trangia or small stove*
- Insect repellent.
- Sun Block
- A camera (if you would like some photos)
- Toiletries - towel, tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, tampons, etc.
- Any required medication
- A rucksack to carry everything*
- A bin bag to line your rucksack for keeping everything dry
