Safety Statement and Child Protection Policy
- “Will and Away” strives to operate through best practice in order to ensure the safety of all clients.
- Where necessary, the guidelines of National Governing Bodies are always adhered to.
- “Will and Away” has adequate insurance cover in place for all activities.
- All staff have valid first aid qualifications.
- All staff are Garda vetted.
- All staff undertake a child protection course.
- There will generally be a staff/client ratio of 1;10.
- A risk assessment has been undertaken for each activity we provide.
- Emergency evacuation strategies and health and safety precautions are always in place for every activity.
- Under 18's need to be accompanied by a parent or guradian on activities.
