Instructor and guiding qualifications
In rockclimbing, tree climbing, hill walking, bushcraft, orienteering, open boat canoeing, or other applicable fields.
Some desired awards include Mountain Instructor Award, Mountain Leader, Multi Pitch Assessment, Single Pitch Assessment, Advanced Bushcraft Award, Level 3 Open Boat Canoe Instructor.
Ideally and honours degree in Outdoor Education or related field i.e. Ecology, Archaeology, Geology, Youth Work, Business/Corporate Training, etc.
Child Protection Training
Have an up to date child protection cert
Have up to date REC 3, Wilderness First Aid, or equivalent.
Leave No Trace
Leave No trace Trainer, or Master Educator award.
3 years relevant work experience.
Any experience of running, facilitating or partaking in adventure, bushcraft or nature based expeditions is welcome.
Volunteer/Work to Learn
We often provide work experience opportunities for people looking to improve their skills and gain valuable knowledge in how to deliver top quality outdoor activities.
We're more than happy to assit you in gaining some excellent work experience.
